ter·ra fir·ma

noun

"solid earth" (from terra, meaning "earth", and firma, meaning "solid")

Origin: Latin

Our practice views architecture as simple a base (the terra firma, solid ground) from which the users have the ability to shape and structure according to changing needs and abilities. We see buildings as defined according to the life within, as architects we are only providers of a base only the users can bring to life and define the building.

This vision is reflected in our logo, which portrays a simple section through the earth with our name resting on a base of solid ground.
